For the month of February and to celebrate Valentine's Day, I focus on CHOCOLATE with my kids! Together, we read the book "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Then, we are able to watch both of the movies. In the end, we are able to compare and contrast the differences in the three versions of the story. My students have loved doing this! Today, we started reading the book "Chocolate Fever" to keep the theme running until the end of the month. **The plus: students remember to bring the teacher chocolates!!!!
